Overview

Built-in Bluetooth wirelessly pairs with smartphones, tablets, and select Bluetooth-enabled two-way radios—enabling hands-free listening and push-to-talk communication without a cable connection.

Revo NC2 delivers strong passive noise canceling for daily use in public safety, industrial environments, and other high-noise conditions. Passive noise canceling performs well across radio types, including newer digital radios that may use electronic noise reduction in their design.

How the noise-canceling mic works

Noise-canceling microphone elements pick up sound from the front and back of the mic. By reversing electrical polarity between the two sides, ambient background noise is reduced while speech (coming primarily from the front) is emphasized.

OTTO noise-canceling mic elements use a cardioid response pattern, which helps reject sound from the sides. This is especially useful in loud environments where background noise can overwhelm speech when using a conventional speaker microphone.
