The CLP1010e can be used alongside previous-generation Motorola CLP radios when the radios are programmed with compatible channel settings. It also supports cloning with previous CLP models, although features exclusive to CLPe radios cannot be transferred to older radios.
Important accessory note: CLPe radios use an updated audio-accessory connector. Previous-generation CLP wired and Bluetooth earpieces are not compatible with the CLP1010e. Choose accessories specifically listed for the CLPe Series.

Programming
The CLP1010e supports PC programming for frequency, signaling and operational settings. Available programmable functions include Busy Channel Lockout, call tones, voice announcements, volume behavior, auto power-off and repeater settings.
