Blackbox SHIFT UHF DMR Digital & Analog Two-Way Radio
The Blackbox SHIFT from Klein Electronics is a compact UHF two-way radio with DMR digital and analog operation. Its approximately 3.5-inch-tall body offers a convenient option for teams that want a smaller radio for everyday workplace communication.
Choose SHIFT for a new radio deployment or ask HiTech Wireless to review compatibility with your existing equipment before expanding your fleet.
Key Features
Digital and analog: Supports DMR and analog communication.
1.6-watt output: Compact portable radio for on-site coordination.
Channel organization: 16 channels with 64 zones.
PC programmable: Configure channels for your communication requirements.
Small size: Approximately 3.5 inches tall.
Ready-to-equip package: Includes a 1,600 mAh battery, rapid desktop charger, antenna and removable belt clip.
A smaller radio can be easier to incorporate into employee uniforms and daily routines. Organizing channels into zones can also help separate departments, work areas or operating groups.
For teams considering a move from analog to digital, review the proposed channel plan before ordering. Radios must share compatible operating modes and programming to communicate.
Ideal Applications
Consider SHIFT for workplaces where compact radios are a priority:
Retail stores and customer service teams
Hotels, restaurants and hospitality operations
Schools and administrative staff
Event staff and venue coordination
Office buildings and facility teams
Coverage depends on building construction, obstructions, interference and the operating environment. Contact HiTech Wireless to discuss your site and coverage expectations.
Compatibility and Programming
The SHIFT operates in the 400–470 MHz UHF range and uses a Kenwood-style two-pin audio connector.
Matching the frequency range alone does not establish radio compatibility. Have HiTech Wireless review your current radio models and channel programming before purchase. Confirm the fit and electrical compatibility of individual audio accessories before ordering.
SHIFT-6 six-unit charger: Centralize charging for a team of radios.
SHIFT replacement battery: Keep spare batteries available for staff.
SHIFT RadioGrips silicone case: Add a fitted protective grip.
Optional stubby antenna: Ask about a shorter antenna configuration.
Accessories are sold separately. Contact HiTech Wireless for accessory selection and availability.
